Lauren Baker has 10 years of live performance experience and two years of studio experience. She started playing local venues at 16-years-old and has been performing regularly ever since. A recent graduate from Salem State University, she has a degree in Media Communications and Audio Engineering. Specializing in acoustic guitar and vocal technique, she also has skills in live performance, music production, songwriting and music marketing. 

She comes from a family of musicians, her mother is a drummer and her father a guitarist so she grew up surrounded by music. Today, her shows across the Northshore, as an acoustic soloist, consist of genres ranging from pop to rock to folk. When she is not busy with shows she is recording music in her home studio. 

Her goal as a teacher is to inspire students to pursue their own creativity and not be afraid to share it with the world!
